Payouts

Running it costs nothing. Earning sats is the point.

No subscription, no tier above this one. The economics work in one direction: we pay you, you don't pay us. Below is exactly what your gateway can earn, with a slider so you can play with the math.

Estimate your payouts.

Move the slider to set how many unique BLE devices your gateway hears in a day. The bounty is 1 sat per device per day, capped so a single device can't mint more than one payout to your org per day no matter how many packets it broadcasts.

Sats per day 25 Sats per month (30 days) 750 USD per month

USD figures use today's BTC price (about $62,999 from CoinGecko, cached 60 seconds). Sats values are exact; USD floats with the market.

A typical home gateway hears tens of unique devices in a day. A gateway near a transit hub or retail corridor can hear hundreds. Earnings scale with how busy your block is and how well your Bluetooth antenna sees the street.

How payouts work.

Every BLE packet has exactly one gateway that hears it first. That gateway earns the discovery bounty: 1 sat per (org, device, day), capped to keep operators with many gateways from credit-stacking on the same device. Your gateway just needs to be running, with its Bluetooth radio in a spot that hears the street.

Payouts settle once your org crosses a 10,000-sat threshold (so a Lightning routing fee doesn't eat the payout). Sats land directly in a Lightning node you control. No custody, no IOU, no off-chain promise we can renege on.

Where we are today.

Bounty accounting is live. The first sats have already paid out from a real gateway running real Bluetooth scans. We're early, device density is still ramping, and the payout figures above assume mature device traffic on your block.
